It says that this film has creative commons license, I would like to use part of it for a film i am making. But I have seen it being sold on Amazon in the UK. Does creative commons apply here as well? Surely there must be some sort of copyright if it is still being sold as a film through amazon?

The video is in the Public Domain because it was registered in the year it was made, but not renewed. It may be used for commercial or non-commercial purposes. As a courtesy though, the mentioning of the source is preferred.
